PMIX stands for Prescription Monitoring Information eXchange
A PMIX error is due to a bad value being found somewhere in the patient's prescription records. Due to this bad value, a report can not be generated.
For example,"florida" may be submitted as the Location State on a patient prescription record, when the system was expecting one of the listed set:
- {'AA', 'AE', 'AK', 'AL', 'AP', 'AR', 'AS', 'AZ', 'CA', 'CO', 'CT', 'DC', 'DE', 'FL', 'FM', 'GA', 'GU', 'HI', 'IA', 'ID', 'IL', 'IN', 'KS', 'KY', 'LA', 'MA', 'MD', 'ME', 'MH', 'MI', 'MN', 'MO', 'MP', 'MS', 'MT', 'NC', 'ND', 'NE', 'NH', 'NJ', 'NM', 'NV', 'NY', 'OH', 'OK', 'OR', 'PA', 'PR', 'PW', 'RI', 'SC', 'SD', 'TN', 'TX', 'UT', 'VA', 'VI', 'VT', 'WA', 'WI', 'WV', 'WY'}
The value of "florida" comes from the dispensing pharmacy and must be corrected in order for the patient report to display without error.
If you are unsure which patient prescription is the culprit, please contact the PMP help desk.
