Role authorization error messages while using Gateway can look like:
- "A Other Prescriber from MI is not allowed to make requests to MI.".
- "The requested v4 role Medical Resident with prescriptive authority does not have access on this PMP"
- "There was a permissions problem making this request"
Confirm that the submitted role is valid
Confirm the submitted role is valid. The submitted role must match to one listed below.
- Roles are case sensitive.
- There should be no leading spaces, trailing spaces or miscellaneous characters.
Does the Role Have Access to Query All Destination States?

Confirm That the Facility State Code Formatting Is Correct
Facility state codes sent in patient requests must be valid 2 character, capitalized state codes. Confirm that there are no leading or trailing spaces. If formatted incorrectly, you may need to work with your software vendor to correct the formatting and try your search again.
